April Showers ~ May Flowers ~


Let’s get this party started!  I was in such a mood to cook.  And I think my favorite category is appetizers.  So…we passed around these Garlic mustard pesto and cream cheese toasts…


And tempeh reuben bites…


In honor of my dear friend, Morgan, I copied her favorite pizza from Tampa’s “Gourmet Pizza Company.”  It is described this way on the menu: curry infused garlic oil base, capers, garbanzo beans, house cheese blend, sweet red grapes, fresh cauliflower then drizzled with a house made peanut butter sauce

If I do say so myself, I came pretty close!


This post covers April and May as I have not been a good blogger.  But I’m cooking a lot and entertaining, so frankly, I’m happy.  A couple things to note: Paul Shedleski’s deceptively simple avocadochickpea salad with a hint of dill pickle juice was a huge hit with my husband, Roger.  Who made it for a family gathering where the general assembly ate it up!
